About the Division
University Relations mission is to advance the University of Maryland through sustained philanthropy, meaningful engagement and a preeminent global brand.
University Relations is comprised of approximately 300 of the most talented and dedicated advancement professionals in the nation. The division includes five sub-units: the Office of University Development, the University of Maryland Alumni Association, the Office of Strategic Communications, the Office of Finance and Administration and the Office of Donor Support Services.
University Relations also directly supports the University of Maryland College Park Foundation (UMCPF) Board of Trustees and its operations.
Jacqueline 'Jackie' Lewis
Vice President, University Relations
Jackie Lewis was appointed Vice President for University Relations and President of the UMCP Foundation in 2017, after serving in senior advancement leadership roles at Iowa, Ohio State, Arizona State and medical centers in Illinois and Iowa.
The Office of University Development is responsible for fundraising at the University of Maryland, including all schools, colleges and other units.

Donor Support Services
The Office of Donor Support Services complements the major engagement and fundraising strategies of University Relations. The team takes a client and donor-centric approach toward their work, utilizing a research mindset that propels the operation forward. The Office of Donor Support Services cherishes the lifetime value of the university’s alumni, donors and volunteers.
